LOL! Okay, I'm rooting for you then. I just know that's got to have some perverted British meaning! Damn it :-)

#5 Matt at October 20, 2004 12:19 AM

Appreciate it.

Colt, most cool :-)

I know this is what we'll be saying some day about you:

"Matt? I knew him before he bought CNN. Yeah, he was just a horny little intern back then! You know, before he single-handedly wiped out Hamas and became Israel's national hero. And what about those 'negotiations' he imposed on Egypt, huh? Heh. Good old Matt... So, he's still horny as ever, huh?"

#8 ayahuasca [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 20, 2004 01:56 PM

#15 ayahuasca [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 20, 2004 09:01 PM

#22 Matt at October 20, 2004 10:59 PM

Friday, hopefully. Tonight, I'm writing a piece on the BBC documentary that says terrorism is a neo-con created myth. And it'll be a biggin'. Thursday morning, I'll have Winds of War, phone calls with a Rabbi, a Telegraph journalist, the Israeli embassy...

My job is getting in the way of my bloggin :-)

#23 Ariel at October 20, 2004 11:29 PM

Congratulations Colt!

...and Happy Birthday!

#24 Matt at October 20, 2004 11:52 PM

Hey, Ariel. Long-time no-post.

And thanks :-)

#25 Ariel at October 21, 2004 12:39 AM

Hey Colt,

Sadly, work responsibilities seem to keep getting worse - and then there was wedding planning. Now married (woohoo!) so that's no longer an issue; leading a project now for work, so things are a little bit more busy on that front. But I try to read your blog periodically, even if I'm not a regular poster (on any blog) any more...

#26 Nannette at October 21, 2004 12:51 AM

I really hope you get the job... it'll make the world of a difference to have one of us on the Telegraph middle east desk... and can we phone you there with some good stories and tips???
Nannette ;-)

#27 ayahuasca [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 21, 2004 12:53 AM

Hi, Ariel! Long time no see.
Colt, if you get the job and I send you a story you'll make sure it says "hat tip:evariste" in the newspaper right? Cool just checking.

#28 Ariel at October 21, 2004 02:22 AM

Hi evariste!

Yeah, I decided to follow your footsteps in disappearing for a bit... :)

Good to see you too!

#29 Matt at October 21, 2004 08:28 AM

Ariel:

Mazel tov! Good to hear it :-)

Nanette:

Sure you can send me tips.

evariste:
